  • Porn and age verification
Has your relationship with adult content changed?
  • The rest is politics
Issue 189 of Attitude, with future Prime Minister David Cameron on the cover, felt like a turning point for us. Five years earlier, then-Labour leader Tony Blair covered our election special, but given Labour’s historical (though no longer assured) alignment with LGBTQs, that was unsurprising. To give a Tory MP a cover was a curious choice – but, as the trust coverline suggests, it was far from an endorsement…
  • Let’s talk male circumcision
Dr Ranj Singh demystifies the procedure
  • Aston Martin DBX S
We said of this car’s predecessor, the DBX 707, that it had been turned up to 11. That being so, the genius that created this iteration of Aston’s super SUV has the volume knob in their hand
  • THE GREEN MACHINE
In the six months since being elected leader of the Green Party, Zack Polanski has upended the political arena, bringing balance to Reform’s far-right media dominance. Polanski’s brand of “bold politics” has clearly enthused UK voters, with him leading numerous polls and Green Party membership surging to 190,000 – ahead of the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. He now leads the Attitude 101 list as our Trailblazer of the Year
  • LEADING THE WAY
Actor Fra Fee on growing up in Ireland, the importance of being “out and visible”, and the dream Sondheim role he’d love to get his hands on
  • LIVING THROUGH CONVERSION THERAPY HELL
So-called “conversion therapy” is the practice of pressuring LGBTQ+ people to “change” a same-sex attraction or deny a trans identity. It’s now eight years, five prime ministers and a change of government since we were first promised a ban, and LGBTQ+ people are still subjected to the heinous practice, which is often rooted in religious oppression. Here, Attitude speaks to Traitors star Matty Hyndman and actor and writer Emmanuel about their experiences
  • Cool for the summer
Budding German photographer Bennet Böckstiegel, 25, lives in LGBTQ+ hipster magnet Berlin – but it’s the coastal queer mecca of Spain’s Sitges that’s most shaped his sensual eye
  • After the raid: fear and survival in queer Baku
On 27 December 2025, a club in Baku, Azerbaijan, was raided by police and over 100 LGBTQ+ people were detained. N. Yad reflects on the violence and psychological impact suffered by those arrested, as well as the aftermath for the local LGBTQ+ community
  • HUNGRY TO BE THINNER

Whether it’s parties or peaceful seclusion you’re after, Cyprus, with its glorious beaches, mountain villages, varied nightlife and near-guaranteed sunshine, is a desirable destination all year round
  • EXCESS ALL AREAS
Upcoming film Madfabulous tells the story of the fifth Marquess of Anglesey, a 19th-century Welsh aristocrat who loved nothing more than splashing obscene amounts of cash and dressing up in extravagant women’s costumes. Here, lead actor Callum Scott Howells and director Celyn Jones discuss bringing this flamboyant eccentric to life

After the success of his first novel, Isaac, the tale of a 17-year-old taking his first steps into queer life, Garner returns with a second perspective on the topic in follow-up, Orange. In it, he explores the challenges of coming out in a rural environment and emerging into an urban one. Here, James Hodge reflects on the opening chapters of the novel
